Sister Mandi Greensmith

Mandi has been a Practice Nurse at Rowlands Castle Surgery since 2009 - an interesting transition from hospital and Community Nursing.

She worked at QA for many years looking after elderly patients on medical, stroke and palliative wards.  As a Community Nurse Mandi covered Rowlands Castle, Horndean and Clanfield.  She still works regularly at Spire hospital, Havant.

Mandi tells us she has many Super Powers but the most important is being a nurse, a job that she loves.  The team at the Surgery is like a second family and Mandi looks after everyone and leads the 'entertainment committee' for staff social events.

Mandi loves living near the coast and often swims in the sea and spends time at the family beach hut on Hayling Island.  She lives with her Mum and two crazy cats.  Her sons live close by - family is very important to Mandi.

Sister Emily Morrison (f)

Emily joined the practice in 2018.  She has 20 years experience in nursing and midwifery.  She worked in the hospital setting for 14 years before becoming a practice nurse in 2014.  Emily is experienced in all general treatment room duties, contraception, immunisations, injections, cervical smear testing and travel health.  Emily has completed training, and has a keen interest in, diabetes.  She also sees patients for respiratory reviews and is continuing to develop her knowledge in this area.  In her spare time, Emily is busy with her husband, two sons and their dog, Benji, usually standing on the sidelines of a football pitch!

Our practice nurses operate an appointment system. This includes management of conditions such as diabetes, asthma, family planning, coronary heart clinic and hormone replacement therapy. They also offer a full nursing service including wound dressings, general health advice, routine injections, complex blood tests and vaccinations.
